In-Kind Donations 

There are many different things, large and small, that can help us with our work creating food gardens and urban greenspaces and running educational programs. Below is our latest “Wish List” for useful In Kind Donation items. If you would like to donate any of these items please get in touch by calling 604-689-4446 or emailing info@eya.ca. Our needs change with the seasons, so please visit here again to see how you can help.

If you do have an item to donate, please consider dropping it off at our office or garden space as a part of the donation. Transporting items such as plants, wood or even smaller items can be tricky for us as we generally get around via bicycles and the bus. Thank you!

Items:

• Wood for garden bed building (cedar is best as you don't need to treat it to protect it)
• New hose
• Potting mix or good quality compost
• Tomato cages
• 4" square pots
• Solar panels for grow lights
• Wood chip mulch
• Garden/work gloves (particularly kids sizes)
• Weed wacker
• Cordless drill/screwdriver
• Hand tools 
• Two burner stove
• Animal habitat boxes for school programs or lumber to build these!
• Worms!
• Toner cartridges for our printer or other discounted office supplies
• Portable snacks and drinks for our interns and volunteers
• Display board for tabling
